Film Summer Day Camp
(work at home on July 25th)
Make a short film in a week with SAU’s digital cinema graduate, Ken Burton. Learn writing, casting, production, visual storytelling and editing. Ages 13 -18. A phone and a Laptop are needed. $30 Magnolia Arts Members $40 General Public

September 2019

All Art by Kids Christmas Card Contest entries will be on display during the month of September and winners will be chosen by a people’s choice during the month of September at The Magnolia Arts Center.  Stop by any time Monday – Thursday 11:00 to 3:00 to Vote or at any of our events.   
Winners will be posted on our Facebook Page October 8th.  
Winning Designs will be printed as Holiday Cards which will be sold to benefit The Magnolia Arts Center projects including art classes, art shows, plays, movies, music and more for all children and adults

Giving Tuesday is a movement to create an international day of charitable giving at the beginning of the Christmas and holiday season.  Giving Tuesday was started in 2012 by the 92nd Street Y and the United Nations Foundation as a response to commercialization and consumerism in the post-Thanksgiving season (Black Friday and Cyber Monday). The date is always the Tuesday After Thanksgiving!

Arts in Education Poetry Week at the Magnolia High School
–
2 poets will be in each 9th grade English class all week
Poetry week is an Arts in Education program brought by Magnolia Arts, Arkansas Council and Magnolia Public School District
