Magnolia Arts 76th Annual Art Show

during the Magnolia Blossom Festival and World Championship Steak Cookoff

Calling All Artists!!!

The Magnolia Arts 75th Annual Art Show is excited to announce the 2026 call for entries in adult and youth original Painting, Drawing, Mixed Media, Collage, Printmaking, Photography, Digital, Ceramics, 3D Sculpture and Functional Art. 
Plus a Special Shakespeare Memorial Prize for Excellence in Cat Art. 
The Show is Saturday, May 9th - Saturday, May 16th and all art must stay up during that time.   
Adult and Youth Artist registration and drop off is Saturday, May 9th, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.   ​

• Pre K - 12th grade entries are FREE and may enter 2 pieces of art in each of the 9 categories.
• Adult entries cost $40 for 4 x 8 panel or table/space and $20 for 4 x 4 half panel or table/space.   The number of art is limited by the size of panel or table/space you reserve.
• Our adult panels and table/space is limited. ​ If you would like a guaranteed panel or table/space please sign up online or click on adult entry form below and mail your registration form with check by Friday, May 2nd.  ​

Category Explanation
2D Painting: oils, acrylics, watercolor, etc.
2D Drawing: chalk, charcoal, pen and ink, pastels, pencils, wax crayons, etc.
2D Mixed Media: incorporates more than one type of material (paint, pastel, paper, pen, etc.)
2D Collage: made of various materials (paper, cloth, wood, etc.) glued on a surface
 Printmaking: creates original art by transferring ink from a carved or etched surface onto paper. 
Photography: prints made from the artist original image
Digital: the use of computers to create and edit traditional work
Ceramics: original functional or sculptural clay or porcelain work
3D Sculpture: 3D work in any medium
Functional Art: Stain glass, furniture, woodwork, jewelry, fibers (quilting, needlework,etc.)
